4850 v 5770?

i already own a xfx 4850 xx edition gpu and was thinking of upgrading to one of the new ati cards, i'm stuck between getting a 5770 or a 5850, obviously the 5770 has an attractive price point which is steering me more towards purchasing it compared to the 5850.

But will the 5770 be a step up from my 4850 xxx edition? i mostly play crysis, gta iv, far cry 2, and my 4850 does well but at higher resoloutions it starts to stutter. i use a 26 inch tv (sorry im no good with resoulotions, i get mixed up with all the numbers lol)

the 5770 is about the same performace as the 4870 4890 but with added features like dx11 and eyefinity and less power.
a real upgrade is a 5850 at high resolutions.
what cpu are you using by the way?

core i5 750 @ 3.8GHz

you wont notice much of a difference for your price with the 5770, just grab the 5850
