4870 bios flash

has anyone had a go a flashing the bois on their 4870 card

is there anyway to revert back after ?

were do you find updated bios's

btw, im just running drivers now and no ccc, this sorted out the poor performance i was experiencing

With your rig you should not be having any performance issues. You should have some sort of graphics utility really though - it does not have to be CCC, check out RivaTune.

yeah well im back to square 1 now !!
getting so so so peeeeed off
when using rt, i do benchmarks via vantage and the screen will always default to 800 x 600, then i have to reboot to get it back to 1900.
if i install ccc its slow as S*** and most things are not responding, until a 30 seconds delay.
my god, is this 4870 really worth all this ?
anyone? help b4 i go insaine

Install ATT as a replacement for CCC. I had much less issues with it than CCC and you can control all the stuff you could in CCC:

You need to read their forums properly as it does work on Vista.

Personally I just disable driver signiture enforcement on boot and hibernate my machine instead of shutting it down. Tray tools is that good that it makes it worth it.

Not if you hibernate your machine instead of shutting it down you don't.

There are other options on their forums, I just find this easier as hibernating makes startup significantly quicker.
