As per the title, I get slight tearing in COD4, so I enable 'Sync Every Frame' and it seems things get a bit 'juddery' now. If I disable 'Sync Every Frame' I'm back to slight tearing but smoother motion. This happens in graphically untaxing areas as much as more complex scenes. Not really a biggie, just wouldn't mind getting rid of the tearing. Res is 1280 x 1024, at 60Hz. Should I fully enable / disable in CCC?

Thanks...

Thanks for your reply. If it's not just me I'm happy to put up with some tearing! I never know what to do with Catalyst AI and Adaptive AA either - so many options!

Have you tried using triple buffering?
Like that - the gameplay is much smoother using Triple Buffering without vsync enabled, and less tearing as well... knackers the frame rate a bit (still perfectly playable though, min 60 fps).

Thanks for that one!

Been doing a bit of digging and it seems ticking the 'use dual graphics' option is recommended even for a single card, and Edge detect AA + 4x in-game is a good move...
