4870x2 bad performance with i7. Is this true. If so will it be fixed by May?

I've heard that the 4870x2 has bad performance issues with the i7s.

I am planning on getting a 4870x2 in May for triple monitors. Is it likely to be fixed by then?

If you read that thread, it appears the problem is more with his setup than anything else.

I know the X2s had the problem of "microstutter" - i'm not sure if this has been fixed or how prominent it is, hopefully an owner of said card can clear that up.
