I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to computers and stuff but would it be a good idea to buy a case cooling fan and somehow position it over one of the chips on this card? Thats over the one that is furthers from the fan and gets quite hot?
Usually when dust builds up I use and air duster into the heats sinks and it keeps cooling channels open but its still pretty poor cooling when playing a demanding game. Wondered if that external fan would be worth it? It wouldn't come close to the chip but it might cool the opposite side of the board a bit.
Can I have your advice please? Wouldn't be comfortable taking the card apart to add 3rd party cooling devices.
