Ignore the resident ATi troll, I actually gave him the benefit of the doubt in
this thread. But yet again he comes steaming in here with his petty and rude remarks, talking utter drivel.
That thread just shows that I'm not alone with my views. It's full of people talking about the self-imposed prestige nVidia gives itself.
You are aware that there are other posts in the thread against nVidia other than my own right?
The people that are 'pro wasting money on overpriced cards' are talking nonsense and bout quality and premium. Other than that it's people stating that they also think nVidia's pricing is ridiculous.
If I was an ATi fanboy, I would spout the general fanboy nonsense which usually comprises of lies, imaginary scenarios, purchase justification, rubbish they've heard from a fanboy friend and hilarious assumptions such as 'my fiend had a problem getting an ATi driver to install, but his nVidia driver installed fine, that means no-one ever has problems with nVidia drivers, but they can't even get ATi drivers to install'.
I've found that generally you get more nVidia fanboys because nVidia has more of a presence, it's usually the first brand that people new to computer hardware are aware of in terms of graphics cards due to nVidia's proactive attitude.
They practically tell these people who know nothing 'we're the best, our hardware is premium and quality, buy anything but nVidia and you won't have the best'.
Stupid people fall for that non-sense. nVidia may as well rename themselves to 'are the best regardless of truth'.
A lot of these 'new kids' don't grow out of this odd behaviour and irrational love for nVidia.
nVidia's underhanded methods just make things worse. It's ridiculous that they haven't been sued already for all the stuff they've messed up and had rants about.
You can tell the nVidia fanboys because they're the ones banging on about 'premium' and the fuss they make when anyone criticises anything nVidia as if they have shares or something.
I don't care if people criticise ATi, I'll say something when it's either a lie or a personal experience that someone is insisting is the only experience you'll ever have. Some people just can't handle having troubles with stuff that they can't fix, so they'll blame the brand instead of their own incompetence and act like no-one ever has driver problems with nVidia.
