4890 crossfire rules!!!

opeth i'm sure those differences are there. maybe you should stop playing for a few days and look again with fresh eyes, or play something else then come back.

Nice card btw - i nearly bought a 5870 and was looking seriously at buying raven's on MM before i got my 2nd 4890 working.

As someone on one of your other threads said - just play some games and enjoy it!!

That's how i go about gfx cards, upgrade when i need to & not because i can.

yeah and you probably paid twice as much so nerr and they're probably the only cards hotter than mine as well.

Bring your PC round mine and we can have a grill off

the 470 sli gets 80fps (ok in dx11 with slightly higher settings),

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/chart...h-quality/Battlefield-Bad-Company-2,2237.html

4890 crossfire gets 70.

470 is 14 percent quicker

Guess you whooped my ass ;)

AND if i'm gonna get really picky you probably won't even get near those fps as your stock 860 and P55 board is gonna totally bottleneck em.

Wow you're pro, showing me one benchmark, and no how can an i7 bottleneck my 2 470's don't be stupid, it's fast enough and I don't need to overclock it as it's doing a good job.

Jesus man - get over it. As has also been pointed out - x2 470s it much more expensive so I would expect that they would perform better. How was your post relevant to the thread? Get back to your bridge, troll....

Thnx for the specs Dave, I've got [email protected], 6GB PC12800 RAM, Intel x25m 80GB SSD.

I think I will stick with one of the more recent posts though and wait until a game comes that I will play a lot that the 4890 struggles with THEN go crossfire then a couple years from that buy the best single GFX card for my money again.

Thanks for info btw.

Ignore the negative comments, wasnt long ago 4890s were the shiz, now people are bitching about them. However the idle tip is a good one :-)

Congrats on getting it working, id be stoked to have your setup.
