4890 Noise

Ok brought a new system yesterday and managed to install everythink ok, BUT when i try playing a game or do the vista performance check, i get a strange noise coming from my graph card under pressure, is this normal for this type of card or shud i contact ocuk and see what they say.

that sounds like coil whine nothing to worry about very common with gfx cards.
if you get this sound when playing games enable vsync and the noise should go away

ATI cards are known to be very noisey

My old GTX 8800 used whine under load, my 4870X2 does it a bit but not to much.

Mmmm not sure what to do, as the noise is annoying and tbh alittle scared incase the card screws up and if im honest a card shouldnt make strange noises, but shud i contact ocuk or just leave it mmmmm.

Ignoring the Nvidia fanboyism.

That is probably coil whine, as Kmufc says, turning on Vsync in games usualy stops it. Unfortunatly as well I don't think it's a case for an RMA as it isn't technicaly a fault.
