Does anyone have any experience with the electriq 49CV5UWD120FSHQA-V3?

Its £600 vs. A Samsung 49" Dual-QHD Curved Odyssey Gaming Monitor - 5120x1440 - LC49RG90SSUXEN at £500.

The Samsung is second hand, no dead pixels and 3 years old. Is it too risky?

No experience with electriq as a brand but had a few warranty issues with a Samsung 8K TV which would make me hesitant in buying one of their premium displays second hand.

Saying that I've not had to warranty return my G7 New Odysey 32" yet and had it about a year.

ElectriQ is one of those brands that is just a front for any random Chinese manufacturer they care to use for whatever product. A lot of the cheaper appliances on AppliancesDirect are ElectriQ for instance. I have bought a couple of split-wall AC units from them that have worked fine. No complaints about them but so long as you understand what you are buying. They have no serious brand reputation to maintain like the bigger players like Samsung, LG etc so you might easily get a dud, also just because one of their products is good it doesn't mean an unrelated product of the same brand will be any good as the manufacturer is likely different.
