Hi guys

As above - i want to get a decent new card - my 4870 is only the 512mb version and it stuggles these days - any advice very much welcomed.

Ill stick with ATI for now - not because i think they are better but because for value, they tend to be as we all know.

cheers

If you are into overclocking the GPU then the 5850 offers far better bang for the buck.

Most get good results on this forum, but some also report not good results although they are in the minority

Of course you could also overclock the 5870

Depends on the money really, 100 pounds extra for something you *may* be able to get with a card 100 pounds less. Remember the 5850 is a bit shorter aswell.
