First was entertaining if cheesy, 2nd was abysmal, 3rd was actually a very solid film that I enjoyed

I can't see this maintaining the trend but maybe they've learnt some lessons....

3rd was totally crap. The main actor and even just his character were crap. "Yay look at me I crashed my car in order to beat you in a meaningless race AND I've got a big grin on my face... are you jealous of how immature I am!? Look at how impressed the girls are!!!"

2nd was crap also

1st was a half decent movie IMO, but mostly because it was something different and "new"... Vin Diesel made the movie what it was. So this new sequel has some promise...

dont no why but i love these films, hope they carry it on from 3 with vin diesel and the other guy racing and not just jump way ahead.

I think it was more down to the fact that he wrote a car off worth $0 and the other guy wrote off a car worth $XXX's.
