4gb 1066 DDR2 or 2gb 1333 DDR3 ?

Question in the title but heres what i was looking at:

One thing though is my CPU has a FSB of 1066, so if i get 1333 memory is that speed docked at 1066?

depends entirely on OS,

vista 64 = get the 4gig
everything else = get the 2gig

depending on gfx card you will likely see 3.5GB which will be a lot better performance than marginally faster 2gb.

Gfx card is getting upgraded to a 9800 GTX....
Running vista 32. so bit torn between the two still.

would still go ddr2, you wont notice any difference in the extra speed but you will from the extra 1.3-1.5Gb of ram, assuming the 9800 will be a 512mb version

aye. i just cant afford 4gb DDR3 and a GTX
i take it they proberly wont release a 1gbGTX
