4Gb Corsair XMS3... 15.v or 1.65v?

is this RAM 1.5v or 1.65v...?

I have read on other websites people buying these sticks to find 1.65v on the chips and having problems running them at 1600mhz

I want them for a sandybridge setup to run at 1600Mhz... ive been told to buy 1.5v??

can anyone clear this up for me?
do I have to up the voltage to 1.65v to overclock to 1600Mhz?

will I have to change it? I was told I could just put in XMS3 and change speed to 1600Mhz without touching voltages...

also...will Corsair Vengeance Low Profile stick do? these have same timings and XMP

It's advisible to set the voltage, timings and frequency manually - it's best practice. Or you can enable the XMP and just change the voltage.



Don't know from personal use - but I would be surprised if it didn't run under 1.55V as most brands of DDR3 within that spec do - but you may need to consider the profile depending in your cooler.
