Why would you even want xp. I'm not understanding. It will deff see less than 2GB. The only thing is it might not be a lot.

guys its ok, if i don`t like the amount of system memory XP Pro 32-bit sees when finally getting my system running next year, then i`ll just abandon it and only use Vista. Thank you all for the helpful responses on this matter

Heh, I asked a very similar question yesterday: If a system had four 1GB cards in quad-sli, would the system be unable to access system memory at all?
Who's got pots of money and is willing to test this? Hmm, or maybe who do we know that runs a computer shop online who can fiddle about with builds?
(Obviously this is just idle curiosity - and it only applies to 32-bit systems.)
