Prices have been tumbling again and I'll be buying my new rig soon so I thought I get some opinions. I want a 2x2Gb kit (with a view to matching it in the future) and was looking at these 3:
OCZ 6400
G.Skill 6400
Geil 6400
They're all £64.61 and all give lifetime warranties - so not much to choose from on paper. Can anyone give any insight into Reliability, RMA, OC'ing, and Compatibility? They'll be going on a P35 board with either a 2200 or the 8400.
(Anyone know if the OcUK kit is any good?)
I suppose I need them to do 500MHz ideally to keep things matched, how much of a difference does this really make on conroe/wolfdale systems now - or is a divider fine?
