Hello,

I've recently updated to an ATMOS receiver and have noticed a few sound drop outs whilst watching 4k ATMOS films (@ 1080p), I changed the 1.4 HDMI cables to 2.0 and the drop outs to the TV have stopped.

However, when using the projector (20m 1.4 HDMI) the drop outs in sound still happen (maybe 4-6 in a movie, but only in high bit-rate, Netflix ATMOS movies via the XBOX are fine for example, 4k via the Nvidia Shield drop out)). Question is can the 15-20m cheap HDMI cables now handle 4k? I can fairly easily replace the cable and I'm hoping 4k@24Hz is doable (and thus the 1080p ATMOS that I require is)

I'm thinking of trying a 20m £30 cable for my needs before I try a repeater...good idea?
