Hey guys, I want to build a 4K video editing pc and here's what I'm thinking of getting so far:
CPU AMD - Threadripper 1950X 3.4GHz 16-Core Processor
CPU Cooler Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard Gigabyte - X399 AORUS Gaming 7 ATX TR4 Motherboard
Memory Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX GAMING Video Card
Case Corsair - 750D ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply EVGA - SuperNOVA P2 850W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Case Fan Corsair - HD120 RGB 3-Pack w/Controller 54.4 CFM 120mm Fans

What do you guys think? Still deciding on monitors, keyboard and mouse. I have no idea about stress testing so how do I go about this? Thank you so much for your help!!!

1080Ti would be killer for gaming !
Would recommend the Aorus Ti at £709 , for the fact it will match and sync with the Aorus board as well as superior rep support on here :)
Corsair 750D is a great case but getting on a bit, more cases are smaller with glass , most with better stock fans
Should check out the newly released Bequiet! Dark 700... Damn

Also your getting a thread ripper system, so it's quad channel, use it , get 4*8 GB sticks to take advantage of it

If you want to save money, Ryzen 1700 with x370 board or save more and B350 board

But the amount you save in ripper !

IF you stick with a single GFX card then a PSU around the 650W range would be ample.

Also what about a m.2 SSD like a Samsung 960 Evo which is faster than a SATAIII based one, might be usefull for movie large video files around.

Plus the case is rather dated now, you might also consider one with some sort of sound dampening material applied to the insides.
