Right Mrs wants a 4x4 next

So i have been searching have seen 1 or 2 car like 4 litre Ford Explorer or Jeep Cherokee with a lpg conversion.

Now i currently have a 1.6 Astra 16v which does about 39 MPG.

The other to get about 19 MPG now on LPG you might get say 17-18MPG.

Now what i am trying to work out it is cost on lpg vs the cost on petrol on the Astra.

do you understand me and can anyone Help ?

Regards Matthew

By your MPG figure, then LPG will have to cost less that 50p a liter for you not to have to pay out more for your motoring. Check where the nearest place you can buy LPG as it might be miles away which means a separate trip just to fill up. I have no idea where I could buy LPG

Theres a tesco near me that sells it for 46.9p currently .

i was looking for a car with the conversion already done too.
