5.1 Speakers on a non-surround sound card

I have 5.1 speakers but I don't have a 5.1 sound card, just a standard. But Logitech supply an adapter that will allow you to plug the speakers into a stereo sound card. I've plugged them in but the Realtek HD Sound drivers are only detecting the front two and for some reason it seems to think left is right and right is left.

The centre or rear speakers aren't working either.

Any ideas?

Weird, realtek settings not detecting them but if I play music/watch a movie sound comes through all speakers.
