5.25" Adapater

I stumbled accross a 5.25" to 3.5 adapter the other week on one of my journeys around the internet which took up 2 X 5.25 bays and gave you 3 X 3.5" bays..

but now I cant find it anywhere... any ideas?

Ah so thats where I saw it lol... ok but I dont want it for £80

I just want a simple adapter that does the same thing

Yeah I thought that might be the case!

5.25" to 3.5" 3 that search gave me similar things (Can't link to competitors)

did you find some that give you 3 slots for the cost of two? I didnt find any

yeah its cos they have built in fancy stuff like hot swap and a backplane.. I just want something simple..so annoying

Who makes your case? Coolermaster for instance sell these from their spares site.

Yeah i see what you mean. Somewhere people have suspended HDDs in their 5.25" bays with bungee wire or similar. That way no vibration get's though, and you just put as many in as you can fit? Not as elegant but an idea and probably cheaper!

it must exist already lol.. I dont really want that fan or the gap it creates
