Hi all,

So - I own a Midi Case Phantom 410, with one front bay filled with an optical drive.
And now I am planning to fit in a WC system for my rig, but I have to free the front HDD bays to fit in a second 240 rad at the front to cool my 2 MSI 7970 lightning.

I am wondering has anyone got any experience with this?
I am trying to mount two OCZ vertex 4 SSD and one Seagate 3.5" HDD onto the top 5.25" front bays, any recommendation for adaptors??

Many Thanks :D:D

The SDD's can just be taped/velcro'd to the metal since they dont use any moving parts, so no need to really do anything with regards to mounting, you can put them anywhere, you could even just place them somewhere in the case and leave them alone if you wanted :P but they will slide around :D
For the hard drive you can buy an adapter.
OcUK don't offer any which will leave the front shield thing on so just google
Akasa 2.5" & 3.5" SSD/HDD Adapter Into 5.25, its a very nice and efficient one while also being cheap :D
Mount the hard drive first, then mount the entire thing into the bay like you would a dvd drive.

Thanks!
But where do you think I should duc tape my SSDs?
Maybe I can fit in a NZXT Hue as well in that case :D

Put them anywhere you want, it doesn't really matter, just pick a spot.
Could put them on the back of the MB tray if you have room and want to keep them out of sight.
or just put them both in a empty 5.25 bay and stick them down with something :P
Could even stick them to the back side panel too show them off :D

startech 5.25" hdd bay is what you want if you want it to look posh

supports one 2.5" and one 3.5" hdd/ssd

yh its a 5.25" dock, same size as a dvd drive and accepts both a 3.5/2.5" so two drives can be fitted, they do stick out slightly(beware if your case has a front panel door) but work fine

been using one for over 6 months no issues, google startech 5.25" dock
