no, my current pc is about 12/13 years old, it has some sort of ssd but not a big one.do you have any parts to start with, or is that £500-600 to cover everything?
Even an old SSD in a drawer etc will help in this climate.
I think you are really going to struggle with that budget given current prices.hiya all, what would 5/600 build me small pc wise? used for 1080p/1440p gaming, dont need the latest tech, ddr4 would be fine.

His first post says it is for gaming otherwise a secondhand ex business mini hp, dell etc might have suited but even the larger SFF versions have low spec PSU's and low power / low profile GPU's are thin on the ground and generally poor value / slow.how small you need it and whats its use case? plenty of those office small 1L hp, dell and lenovo machines going round
That would give an 8 litre, but you’d be looking at over £600

Interesting case / mobo combo but that comes out at just over £900 which is way over OP's budget; its sad that entry level PC's are so expensive I'm in a similar boat and need a new system but don't want to pay the crazy prices even though I could afford to.
It's the hardware list you posted and they are amongst the cheapest components Overclockers sell, you aren't getting those parts for £500-600 new regardless of where you shop.Maybe if you pick those components, but why would you…

You listed 32GB of ram and 512GB of storage is too small for a gaming PC hence the cheapest 1TB NVME they had listed at the time I posted the list above yours, if you hadn't noticed prices are absurd everywhere.
Feel free to post your own selection of components and prices from Overclockers using new not B grade parts.
You said "A SSD" modern games are massive it would be complete folly to buy a small SSD for a gaming PC:I didn’t list any storage but you don’t a 1tb SSD for gaming. 32GB of RAM is plenty of memory too…
