50 reasons why L4D2 is a true sequel to L4D1

Ok! What does it need to determin to be a sequel other than:

New Location
More campaign's
Longer campaign's
New characters
New specials
New weapons
New game modes

and so on...

Wait a min, does this mean COD MW 2 is an expansion or a mod???

Given that most expansions are around £15-20 and dlc usually being priced at around a tenner, how can anyone complain about paying £20-25 for Left4Dead 2? I was annoyed when they announced a sequel but even though i've only played it for an hour or so (been travelling about lately) its more than worth the money I spent on it.

Agreed... cost me £21 including the 88p PayPal charged me (the ********!) for sending the money since i got a 4pack. Even if i'd got it on my own its still worth the money. £20 is a normal expansion pack, maybe £6 for a DLC. It contains new characters with tons more spoken dialogue, some new SI, huge new campaigns and 2 gamemodes.

Yes Realism and probably Scavenge could've (and still should be really since its mostly just scripting) added to L4D also. But its still way more than an expansion would ever provide. The only problem is it just splits up the playerbase a little more.

Or people should take a stand against this crap :) That's the main problem, valve turning into everyone else :)

Yes, Valve are becoming everyone else by releasing fairly priced games rather than bumping the retail price up past the £40 mark for the PC (RRP of MW2 was £45 for PC versions of the game).

I have no problem with companies releasing new games, they just need to realise that as consumers we only have a certain amount of disposable income to go through.

every sequel is an expansion. They should have just thought of the ideas initially and then made one stupidly huge mega game. Those stupid morons, why dont they ever do it right. Same with films, who the hell needs 6 star wars, why didnt they just make one epic movie?
