50 reasons why L4D2 is a true sequel to L4D1

If the game had changed dramatically I would likely be dissapointed with it.

I liked the first one and wanted the same again with some subtle changes which is basically what we got.

The only minor complaint I have is that there are too many daytime sections as they are no where near as atmospheric as the dark bits.

give it a few weeks after mod tools come out and I'm sure someone will make all the campaigns at night :p

along with the l4d1 maps.

Give me a wandering witch at Night imo.

Honestly though, the daylight 'wandering' witch is great and everything for accidently shooting her but she is laughably easy to kill with any type of shotgun. She's too easy to spot during daylight and takes so long to respond to you shooting her in the back (or face). Seriously your a bigger danger to yourself than the Witch is... as i proved last night attempting to crown her in Expert Realism with an Explosive Shotgun and incapping myself :D

defiantly!.

Daylight witch should go off much much quicker

apparently I'm useless against witches, on advanced realism I emptied my magnum and two clips of auto shotty into her (while running away of course) with my team helping out, she still killed me :(

Well yes, Shotguns do increased damage at point blank range, 5x i think. And of course getting that close to her when she's chasing you probably means you'll lose your face.

Well guys. There's really only one reason. It's this.

Sorry about the page stretch but it's necessary.

The Jimmy Gibbs special looks to me like an attempt at a crescendo specific 'boss' zombie. Just what I was wishing for when playing L4D, it seems like Valve have taken a step forward to creating complex scripted events for multiplayer akin to the sort of stuff we've been seeing in single-player for a while... But haven't quite got there yet, or maybe just want to keep for the next game.

Given that most expansions are around £15-20 and dlc usually being priced at around a tenner, how can anyone complain about paying £20-25 for Left4Dead 2? I was annoyed when they announced a sequel but even though i've only played it for an hour or so (been travelling about lately) its more than worth the money I spent on it.

I'll wait for it to become stupidly cheap like I did with the first, Borderlands and Dragon Age should keep me going til then. :D
