That's how the 3090 was
Might look worse here because its more rectangular/flat, hard to say.

Wouldn't count on it - In the expanded view here it looks like it's just punched out of the backplate.
You might be able to remove the pastel sticker/plate and just have it the same colour as the rest, but I don't think I'd want to do that at least until the warranty runs out
Yeah just looking at that, the light strip looks really clean. But like you say is it 300-400 betterI think I still want the Astral more, but it's probably going to be £2.5k and not sure I want it *that* much.
The FE is an option, but I'm waiting for the review for that one, mainly because I'm super interested to see how they've got a 575W card down to a 2 slot cooler while all the other AIB models still come with a shipping container bolted on to the side.
Also, I need a backup plan for 5 seconds after 2pm when the FE sells out.
Yeah it was the ball bearings wasn't it? You'd hope that would be an easy fix for this generation. All the complaints of Zotac fan noise put me off… but I do quite like the gold of the ‘solid’.
The Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Gigabyte and Inno3D were definitely there for launch last time. Are we just assuming all of these cards will be launch ones or has it been confirmed? Just conscious that with the 40 series the more premium cards were launched slightly later, I hope it's not the case this time!
Has that just been announced?Asus thought they cornered the market by offering a 4 fan 5090
MSI has one upped them
Announcing the MSI FiveFrozr rtx5090, powered by 5 Stormforce fan - 3 fans on the front of the card and 2 on the back

No dragons no buy.
Also, at this rate I'm convinced that in order to cool itself the FE is going to sound like my PS4 did when I fired up FF7 remake on it towards the end of it's life.
Looking at the Gaming X Trio, because it's the same as previous cards I've had (1080 and 3090) and never been disappointed in fan silence & quality. Though I see it comes with a small bar to prop it up lol.
What are we expecting price-wise for these? +£150 or +200 more than FE?
The vanguard has two RGB dragons and four non-RGB dragons so looks like the card with the best pound to dragon ratio so far.
Why can't someone just give us a plain light bar like on the Nitro lol.
Are the Asus cards the only ones with 2x HDMI 2.1?
Since monitors are generally overpriced trash both my displays are TVs.
