50 Series Partner Cards Showcase

Wouldn't count on it - In the expanded view here it looks like it's just punched out of the backplate.

You might be able to remove the pastel sticker/plate and just have it the same colour as the rest, but I don't think I'd want to do that at least until the warranty runs out :P

Looks a little more subtle in real life, so its fine. Last gen only Suprim had the vapour chamber in the MSI stack, so need to check that.

@Ascendancy here be Dragons!

As long a you don't put the figure in your PC I'll allow it.

Also I think with the Trio, the Dragon on top would defuse the RGB you already have in your case, so that makes more sense.

The FE is an option, but I'm waiting for the review for that one, mainly because I'm super interested to see how they've got a 575W card down to a 2 slot cooler while all the other AIB models still come with a shipping container bolted on to the side.

Also, I need a backup plan for 5 seconds after 2pm when the FE sells out.

Trio is missing the vapour chamber and I don't like the Suprim this year. I don't want to spend more for less, so that rules that out.

I think first choice FE, back up Vanguard or Astral for me.

I wonder if Zotac will be doing a 6 year warranty again. They have a similar light strip to Asus, but do I want to be advertising "Zotac Gaming" logo on my PC side and front for the next two years lol.

Are we just assuming all of these cards will be launch ones or has it been confirmed? Just conscious that with the 40 series the more premium cards were launched slightly later, I hope it's not the case this time!
The Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Gigabyte and Inno3D were definitely there for launch last time.

Others came later, usually the white skus and water cooled variants.

Oddly no Rog Strix for the 5080/5090, The Astral is taking its place.

No dragons no buy.

Also, at this rate I'm convinced that in order to cool itself the FE is going to sound like my PS4 did when I fired up FF7 remake on it towards the end of it's life.

I've got three 140mm fans blowing below the gpu with the fe pass through its gonna be cold as ice*.

Looking at the Gaming X Trio, because it's the same as previous cards I've had (1080 and 3090) and never been disappointed in fan silence & quality. Though I see it comes with a small bar to prop it up lol.

What are we expecting price-wise for these? +£150 or +200 more than FE?

Gaming Trio looks great, just puts me off there is no vapour chamber. Though last Gen in testing it dosnt make much difference. I think the Trio is lower down the stack so likely none oc £1935 and oc +£60.

I love the Sapphire card ashetics so it's a good thing IMO.

So I'm learning between four cards (just watched the Hardware Unboxed video too). The fe, MSI Trio or Vanguard or the Astral.

I love the design of the fe, not sure about the power connector. Some have questions about the accoustics of the card, so I'll have to ready the reviews the day before release on that one. Love the light bar on the Asus, the msi ones will match with my motherboard better (and I have a glass front and side) so given they have silent fans I think I might pay a premium of +200 over a fe... maybe.

Gigabyte cards look really good but I hate those RGB rings, which makes it a total no go.
