50% usage 7970

just started crysis 3 and ive noticed that i can only get between 50-60% usage the majority of the time with fps at 25-30 on medium settings. anyone have an idea what may be causing this???

what cpu do you have?

the fx 8350 both cpu, gpu oc slightly, but get same results whether both stock or both oc

CPU bottleneck surely, go with higher gpu settings, you might not get extra fps but it'll look nicer. overclock your cpu (as much as possible)

Also do you have v-sync on?

every other game runs perfect tho steady 60fps and really be strugglin to go over 5ghz on cpu

mine runs at 99% must be an issue there somewhere. Have you tried lowering the settings to see if it changes the run in?
What are you using to monitor this?

there no more going on in background than any other games which can be ran on max settings with 60 fps just this one game

Well, it's always best to check, as itunes was causing my CPU to hit 99% in this game and the moment i closed it i was fine.

i dont use i tunes etc not sure what other progs to look for also i only hit about 70% cpu usage in this game

is it your browser open? if yes.. close it...

I'm running crysis 3 with 2x7950 and they hit more than 90% use but I'm using 5884x1080 resolution
