just started crysis 3 and ive noticed that i can only get between 50-60% usage the majority of the time with fps at 25-30 on medium settings. anyone have an idea what may be causing this???
 
CPU bottleneck surely, go with higher gpu settings, you might not get extra fps but it'll look nicer. overclock your cpu (as much as possible)

Also do you have v-sync on?
 
mine runs at 99% must be an issue there somewhere. Have you tried lowering the settings to see if it changes the run in?
What are you using to monitor this?

Well, it's always best to check, as itunes was causing my CPU to hit 99% in this game and the moment i closed it i was fine.
 
iTunes causes a game to run at 99%?
I almost can't believe that, or it must be some kind of sound sharing problem? :)
 
is it your browser open? if yes.. close it...

I'm running crysis 3 with 2x7950 and they hit more than 90% use but I'm using 5884x1080 resolution
