Hi all,

My mate wants a new computer, just the base unit. He has a monitor, keyboard and mouse for £500.

What would be best, AMD/Intel? How much RAM, what hard disk, case etc would be best suited to such a priced PC?

If anyone could spec me up a PC for £500 I would be very greatful.

Thanks

this is a gamers £500 build
its quite a difficult price point to make a decent system but heres what i prepd:

HOWEVER i have not included a hard drive, also youll need an OS as well.

Also i have not sorted a 620 quad core simply because it gets bad results for a quad core in my pov.

how does this look guys?

I would say this is a more balanced system for £500, don't want to strain the power supply aswell.
