Any different parts I should consider before I order?

pre-built are good if you cant do it yourself or just to quickly setup, but unless its basic use then custom all the way, its what got advised to me before(didnt take it up as i had a stage of going through tablets over xmas and now buying the missus a laptop, i lack the funds lol) and it is logical sense..
was this a micro atx board? i now have use of a SFF pc that was a trade off buying the missus a laptop to replace it and although i havent got gaming in mind as much, im interested to find how each setup people buy do well for the money.
