Hi guys
Just curious if anyone knows the kind of spec I should be looking for in a laptop so I can do some programming for both games and web that would be around £500?
I've looked on places like Nova-tech (banned word? Take out hyphen) but I'm not sure if around the £500 price tag they'd be powerful enough?
The gaming ones look good but most are around the 1k mark, which if you guys think it would be a better investment to get a gaming laptop then I'd save up and get a gaming one instead, but if one of the business ones are able to do the job then that'd be ideal.
Here are the cheaper business ones (mainly around 700):

And the gaming ones (mainly around 1k):

The kind of games I'd be developing are 2d and 3d, both probably with the Unity engine or Unreal engine, which I appreciate do need a powerful system to run depending on the quality of the games' graphics.
There is also a custom section on there so if anyone is good at selecting custom parts could come up with a good spec that'd be great!
Thanks for reading.
