£500 lemon

Hi there,
me again, begging for advice.
Long story short, tried to replace my ageing Dell IPS for 2 Acer Nitro 24" IPS. Dreadfull, washed image. For some reason was making me ill after 10 minutes of use. Really, not joking.
Decided to go for a LG 32UD89-W. Spec-wise was good. Ordered, but really annoyed now. Backlight bleed in every corner and all around the base of the screen. The worst is the ghosting when scrolling text. Really bad.
Did I just got a lemon or this monitor is that terrible?
Using Display Port, all installed by the book.
Any recommendation for an up to £500 alternative?
Using a Vega 56, so Freesync, i guess.

Where did you buy it from? A certain retailer removed will keep exchanging them till you are happy

Other than Dell most monitor brands I've tried over the last few years seem to be worse and worse for quality and even Dell isn't unaffected by the decline.
