Hi, i'm going to be buying a new pc this week for around £500. Have just put together a spec and was wondering if there was anything to improve on. I don't really know anything about the motherboard so not sure if it's a good clocker or not.
I need everything except the DVD drive. I already have a case but want to upgrade it to a quiet and nice looking one. If I can get a much better system without buying a case i'll use my old one.
I will be overclocking and I will be using it for gaming.

Thanks :)

It's not really that bad what you've picked. You could drop the Abit board and get a 650i Ultra, and also drop the E4300 to a E2160 to get a custom cooler like the AF7 Pro to help with the overclocking.

Thanks, the EVGA 650i ultra board looks really good.
Will this support the new penryn cpu's coming out at the end of the year?

Yep, plus a long warranty :)

The last I heard, the 680i will support Penryn chips, but the 650i will not support them. But I'm not sure on the validity, and I'd wait for someone to maybe confirm that.
