5090 Price

Really a jump from £1500 ? That's £600 increase
I agree the prices are far too inflated to be realistic. Nvidia would get torn apart for the entirety of the generation by everyone, and despite everything they still have an ego.

Day 1 sales would be great at any price, after that it wouldn't have any legs IMO.

My guess £1599 - £1699 that's FE for AIB anythings possible

The 4090 went up to 1699 iirc at the end due to inflation. So I'd say 1749-1799 is realistic, given increase in vram etc.

Some people have said that kind of price for a 5080 in the other thread, no way that will happen. No. Way.

£600 increase on what? 5090s don't exist ;) but yeah, it'll be the fastest card on the market by some way and I expect them to price it that way. The 5080 will probably only exist to make the 5090 look that much more desirable.

I'll be happy if I'm wrong - I'd rather expect to be disgusted and not buy Nvidia then be pleasantly surprised - but they've no reason to price them sensibly.

$2500 wouldn't shock me but I'm slightly leaning towards $2000. Actual retail price will end up closer to $3k anyway.
