Why would you chose SE over M Sport?

Because I found the seats on the M Sport really uncomfortable. The gap between the thigh bolster and the seat itself puts me off the M Sport much more than the additional cost.

But you can move the thigh bolster back so that there is no gap.

i really feel that the 520d will be serverly underpowered for the weight of the car , when i test drove mine i tested the 525d and thought it was just about enough , which is why i chose the 530d, if you must get it please try and get the zorst chrome cover!

8.6 seconds to 62 is certainly no slouch! The car weighs approx 1.6tons, so thats pretty impressive, but yes, I agree, get a 6cyl diesel you'll be laughing

i know but it feels like a slouch , the 6 pots pull so much harder and feel far more agressive , they sound better too :)

what surprised me what the lack of differance between the two cars in performance (on paper) - the only noticable differance is economy.

also dont forget that my current car isnt exactly a rocket ship.

Yep you can, but that defeats the purpose of having it move forward. :(

With long legs the additional support is welcome.

Yeah, I think they're totally pointless unless you're 6'6" - they do look good when extended though :).

My car didn't come with cup holders, so I leave the passenger support extended - works particularly well at holding waterbottles in place if you lie them down in the gap :D

But the SE seats are the same length as the retracted Sport ones so you don't gain anything over having the SE seats instead?
