Ok so i am buying a projector and with it i get a free competitor value pull down screen.

My image will be 55" perfect for my room the projector will be 2.5m away.

The projector is 4:3 but can do 16:9
.
The screen is 55" diagonally but in a widscreen 16:9.

1st will this be ok for my image set to an 16:9?

2nd the competitor does not state the height and width of the screen, i googled it and nobody has stated.

Soes anybody know or have an idea what it will be?

Much apprieciated Pat

A 55" 16:9 screen would be 47.95" x 26.94" or 121.8cm x 68.4cm. I think that's what you are asking anyway!

Im a bit miffed by that,

however i dont see the point in buying a projector only to project such a small image.

my projector does 82inch in the room its in, my room i want to set it up in should achieve 100inch +

for the fart on of having a projector 50 odd inches seems a waste

Cheaper for the size inch for inch I guess. More discreet too. I agree that it seems small, but perhaps the room size dictates that this must be how it's set up.

Hm i know what you mean but i am 2.5 m away and dont want to spend a lot of money on a big tv, just for ps3 and gaming. The quality doesnt bother me if its not in HD. Thanks for tyhe mesurments much appreciated :)

Out of couriosity is the projector you're looking at the Optoma HD700X + a free 55" Screen?

If so I'm looking at this myself, it would be much appreciated if you could post back on dimensions and overall performance of the screen and the projector.

Pics would be good too :D
