55" vs 65"

Just get the 65", you'll regret it if you don't, and do you know how hard it is to add 10" if you haven't got it already :D

IMO right now 65" cost too much for the really good panels your talking £3K

That tv is the best 65" I have seen it will blow you away.

IMO though it's far too much atm. 55-60" is much better value for money.

seriously go view the above tv you won't be looking at mid range panels again.

"Conclusion
The Sony 55X9305C offers several areas of improvements over the 55X9005B, which is no mean feat given how awesome the outgoing model was. The introduction of 10-point white balance controls is long overdue, helping the KD55X9305 achieve more accurate greyscale (and hence colours) than before. Sony has also provided more refined control over its pseudo-local dimming system which remains arguably the best in the business, working seamlessly to inject that elusive dose of cinematic magic we’ve rarely seen on TVs from other companies. And there’s still HDR playback support to look forward to following a firmware update."

I got my 65" OLED £200 cheaper than that which wipes the floor with the Sony

you'll always want a bigger tv....I have a 50, sit 10 feet back. Just got a Projector for 100"

I've got a 55" TV and a 100" projector, if you've got the room get as big as you can! The Projector doesn't seem to big for films, it's always a nice treat...

I went for a 55" last year and it looked lost next to my speakers so ended up taking it back and swapping it for the 65".

Sorry for the bad pic but here is the 65"...

What's your take on curved TVs now you've had one Spit?

Surely they reduce the sweet spot where best picture quality is seen so anyone sitting off centre watching is going to get shafted?

I certainly like 65" for my next tv but am going to wait till I have a place of my own then get something - maybe 65" OLEDs will be more affordable in a year or two!

Really like it. It's quite subtle to be honest, I sit off centre mostly and it doesn't bother me.
