550 computer

My build may be trumped then but I still think i've got the right GPU for you. That one that's about £30 will run basic games and older games just fine. Will of course struggle with newer stuff on anything higher than bare minimum settings but if you're not into gaming that much and only have £550 spending more on a GPU seems silly.

i dont mind pushing it to 550 like just i want the best for the money ive got its mainly for producing music which i need a decent processor and ram i will be buying a production sound card http://www.maudio.co.uk/products/en_gb/Audiophile2496.html mainly want it for production but also t play the on game am nt a massive pc gamer so buying the super best graphic card etc would be pointless

Use the developers build of windows 8 that is saving you £80 getting close to a fifth of your build budget.

Buy that! Then look to add a GPU later for gaming. A 6850 or a nvidia 460 really are the minimum you should be looking at, anyone who suggests less is wasting your cash. You really need to budget around £100 give or take for a gaming GPU. If gaming is only a passing interest you could keep a look out for a 2nd hand bargain GPU or maybe the clearance section here on OCuk (B grade items)
