Hi guys,

I have a question, its quite a minor one considering this card is being replaced the end of the month but I wish to give this to my friend so wan't it to stay alive.

My card a Zotac 560ti 448. Will idle at 60c and max out at over 100c during gaming. Which is raising the ambient in my case. (I have as many fans as I can fit in it at the moment)

I run 2560x1440@120hz so the card hasn't had a easy life so far but its clean with no dust buildup. So I just don't understand...

I emailed Zotac asking what can be done, whether I can remove the cooler to replace the TIM with something better or what they can do for me. To be met by a very generic copy paste reply of "lol no, warranty void blah blah" So struggling for ideas here...

Anyone know of anything I can do? Short of ignoring zotac and voiding the 5 year warranty?

It needs a clean. Temps should drop drastically if you use a soft brush to remove any easily accessible dust.

If that doesn't drop the temps enough, then remove the shroud and go from there.

Edit : sorry, I see it has no 'obvious' signs of dust, but as per my post below, perhaps open her up?
