So as the title says, apparently the little Navi 10 can hit 2.3GHz when cooled and fed.

Things get even better when you look at the power usage increase compared to the clock increase.
With Vega it would nearly double the power usage. But its only around a 20% increase for 11% more performance in this game.

Relax. I just bought a Vega 56. Buy an XT in 12 months time when prices are £250 or so. Simples!

By then we will have the 5800 and 5900. Considering RDNA does this at 40CU's, an RDNA 2 part with 64CU's will easily catch up to and maybe even outperform a 2080Ti.

Pushing 300W to the card.

And you don't even need 300W to get those 2.2-2.3 GHz

One thing i am also wondering, is how well the Anniversary cards can be pushed with the same mods.

JUST fyi, RIS doesn't work in DX11 which 90% of games use

For those that are asking.

Yes I used the powerplay tables to bypass the 5700 lock.

Yes am using the stock 5700 cooler with max temps around 70c around 3500-4000rpm

There are many powerplay tables but I suggest the 50% power target one and not the 90% as you'll end up nuking the GPU.

As for gains, I saw around a 20fps improvement in some games not all of course. But I feel am around 2070 overclocked/2070s levels with a 5700.

Any other questions can give me a poke.

Certainly looks good for the RDNA architecture in general and AIB cards based on NAvi 10.
