2500 non k Sandy
8 gig of some non descriptive ram.
550W psu that could do with an upgrading for better efficiency.
so...my gpu is a 5770.
I was thinking of getting a 7850 but now I'm not so sure and now thinking a 6950 is possibly as good a buy.
So, what is the general consensus on this one ?
Would I be better just going for a 7870 ?
My budget is £200 but I'm capable of going £70 above that. TBH I'd rather not as the extra £70 would be better spent on my summer family hols...but I can push it if need be.
In essence what I'm saying is that I'm not as impressed with the 7850 as I thought I would be but ity is surely still a significant upgrade as I'm on a 5770.
Oh, btw. I'm totally ratarsed !

I'm not really that bothered about the top end stuff but deciding on a last gen card or a new one is difficult because the older cards are cheaper and offer excellent performence but the newer ones surely have more to offer down the line, and they are obviously much more efficient in terms of power and heat.
