I've got my 5770 at 100% activity, clock speeds of 400/900, and I don't seem to be able to change them. Its not a temperature thing, its hovering in the low 40's, but its like its stuck in power saving mode or something.

I've tried launching various games, but to no effect, tried enabling ATI Overdrive, disabling it, setting everything back to defaults, but it doesn't seem to budge. Any idea what's causing this, or how to fix it?
Running the 10.1 hotfixes, but I have been for a couple of days, and the problem's not shown itself until just now. I'm running 2 monitors, if that helps.

Are you having performance issues? Or are the clocks simply not changing?

If you're not having performance issues, then it'll likely be the right clock speeds aren't being reported.

It was performance issues, barely managing 20fps instead of a smooth 60 was what made me start poking around.

However, as is always the case with these things, a reboot fixed it. I'd forgotten that last night I had a mini crash while playing WoW. Screens went blank for several seconds, came back and aero was disabled, went black again, and everything seemed normal, albeit a little slower. I'd forgotten it had happened after 10 minutes! Still, that's not a sign of larger issues if it only happened once, is it?

I wouldn't dwell on it to be honest, it's probably just a slight hitch or something.

If you're getting constant issues, then it's something to worry about.
