5770 Overclocking

Hey guys right out the box ive got it running at 900mhz Core and 1300 Mem.

This is the powercolour versoin its idling currently at 32C what you guys think.

Whats your experiances with the card so far?

I've got a sapphire version of this card.

Running 960/1320 with no probs at all. Apparently upping the ram much more than this doesn't do much for FPS and in some cases can decrease FPS.

To increase the core more than 960 you need to use a different program other than CCC, MSI afterburner I think. Correct me if I'm wrong but 1000 onwards may require an increase in volts too.

Aye what type of Temps you getting. At load im hitting 50 in CRYSIS though which is you know intensive lol.

I had 3 of them i found keeping the mem to approx 1300 gave the best performance mine on load went to approx 75c on top xfire card. look at your load temp if there 75 and under give it some more

you think thats a bit high lol? My temps are great i might push it further .

Also quick question lads. My mother boards reporting in bios ma cpu temps are like 25 to 30
but speed fan reports it 40 almost all the time.... lol. 45 somtimes 50 at load.

I dont get the variation though from mobo to speedfan how its that different?

i'm running 960/1375 any more on the memory and it slows down due to error correction kicking in.

best to test with

MSI kombuster on benchmark run
crysis warhead benchmark tool (you need to own the game tho)
unigine heaven 2.0 (if you have vista or win 7)
then also just play a lot of your fave games and look for artifacts and glitches

temp wise i idle at 33 and 4 hours of metro gave a max temp of 64

Dont forget these do not artifact they will throttle so in most test they look fine but there not! use something with a gpu score like 3d vatage soon as you see the gpu score plummet you went to far...re do fro max score then test with the above

Mine does, I get snow just before crash lol. I'll have to test mine out at my current clocks (1002/1300)
