5770 Overheating??

Hi all, i am not overclocking my GPU or anything atm

i was playing some games alst nite for around 5 hours and the graphics started to go a bit when looking a tthe sky i could see streaks and just generally not as good quality as say about 3 hours previous?

could this be i sugn of over heating?

is till havent manged to find a piece of software that can read my GPU temps, only reads the CPU atm, any recommedations on software?

the software that came with your card will tell you the temp's of your gpu.

ahh yes so it would i uninstalled it as windows didnt like it


i shall reinstall and see whats the average temp do you think while under load?

not sure about the 5770 as mine will be here today but it all depends on your case and fan set up

my 4850 idles at 40c and on load goes to 55c on average.

ill get back to you tonight and let you know my temp's on the 5770.

use msi afterburner, will tell you the temps on 1 or 2 gpus.

max rec temp on the gpu is 90c but i was told 125c when it would shut down
