5770 problems

hi
today my screen has been getting lots of tiny white lines and also the sound cuts. and once it went completley fusy in white and cut out.
is this a problem with my card or the cable ?
havent tested the cable as i dont have a spare
and there is nothing wrong with my display screen.
also the cable i am using is HDMI

The fact its affecting sound id say its the hdmi cable as you get sound via hdmi on your card but still uses your mobo's onboard sound i think

It carried on today but I swapped my hdmi cable into hdmi 2 on my monitor and it seems to no be as bad but happens ocassionaly so think I'll have to pick another hdmi cable and see if that makes a difference
