5770 is an awesome card.

At first i was having trouble with my 5770 in windows 7 64 but its all sorted now.

I game at 1920 x 1200 all maxed and i set my fps to 250, even in heavy explosions and gun fire it never moves from 250 :)

Adding my second was even better, 8xaa, ultra high detail, vsync on and everything maxed out as much as i can and still keeping either 250 or 333fps, it never moves :)

im on w7 64bit...are there generally problems with this combo

Sometimes I still wonder why people still treat x64 like some new voodoo, it's not like it's been around for a decade...

There are no problems however if you choose x86 over x64 you probably have problems :p

Well when i first put my system together i put both cards in and then installed windows and had really bad and unstable issues.

so i took 1 card out and reformatted and installed windows and it was fine until about 2-3 hours later when i got a BSOD

So after taking the card out, putting the 2nd one in and reformatting again ( just to be safe ) i installed all updates, drivers and left the graphics uninstalled.

Rebooted up the pc and let windows 7 install just the basic W7 driver, then installed the 10.5 drivers only to have crashing again, so i booted up the pc after doing a driversweep, only this time i used the drivers from the dvd that came with the card and then installed 10.5a's over the top and all was fine.

So after restarting i let the 5770 settle in for a few hours and then installed the second card, it was as easy as turning the pc on with the new card in, going to CCC and enabling CrossfireX :)

all has been perfect so far :)

hope this helps you :)
