5850 Casing

Guys,

At early stages of a project for my build, and was wondering if i can remove the casing off my 5850 , then remove the red plate which has the Radeon enscirbed on it , so i could possible spray it another color? Is it possible to do this , as i have not seen it done anywhere.

yeas u can remove the cooler of , but it will void warranty i believe specially if u color it

Yeah, it's possible but it's a hassle. I've seen a mod with crossfire 58xx cards using two blue name plates. It looked really cool. Can't find the link though!

Thanks for the quick reply , not worried about warranty , i do want to change the color to either white or blue , as it will match my theme , tried googling it , but had no hits
