I have the normal sapphire 5850 and a modern warfare 2 version and was wondering how can I Overclock these? If I can?

I tried with MSI Afterburner by adding
EnableUnofficialOverclocking = 1

but no luck, the voltage seems to change but overclock don't go pass ccc limits can somebody please help me?

Picture of both the cards (sorry I took on the iphone)

Voltage will only change on the first card since the second does not support voltage tweaking.

When you say it wont get past the CCC limits does that mean it crashes with blocky corruption on the screen when you play or is it just not letting the slider go that far?

it just not letting the slider go that far, I did try and use AMD GPU Clock Tool but it didn't save the overclock then blue screened on me when i went to far.

Apply the highest it can go in MSI afternburner, close the program (make sure its not minimised) then open it again and see if there is a longer slider.

Also if you get a BSOD you need to look up "crossfire MSI afterburner BSOD" there is a registry option you need to change.

No it just goes back to default :(

Edit * I did the crossfire MSI afterburner BSOD change and still nothing *

Are you sure the unofficial overclocking inf change worked?

Also you could flash them both with MSI bioses. I am pretty sure the blue 5850 (non toxic) can be flashed with it.

Even if it does not work you can always recover it using the other card.

I dont know how i would do that, And really don't want them going bust on me lol, How will i know if the unofficial overclocking didn't work? the voltage seems to change n save.
