Can anyone help me, just installing my 5850 and notice its got 2 sets of 6pin sockets for power i only have 1 of the cables that fit from my PSU, do i need both to power it what happens if not???

Yes, you do need both to power it.

Not sure how you'd go about sorting it though, have to wait for someone else. Sorry.

Cripple.

there should be some adapters in the graphics card box to convert 2 molex into 1 x 6 pin PCI-e socket, that will give you your 2nd PCI-e connector.
