5850 prices wow

ive just had a quick look on the web and the 5850 prices are very high , over £200 on some etailers . is it because they are becoming short in supply or something else .

Well, paring our single 5850s with another of reasonable price would be preferable

funny when custom pc reviewed them, they were £112.

And they were still getting a profit from them, i dont just think consoles kill pc gaming, its the prices that not many people are willing to pay for components.

id like another one ( never done xfire before ) to run rage , metro , b3 but i need to spend at least £100 on a new psu first . certainly not buying one at those prices lol

same as all cards guys i got my 480 5 months ago for 189 its now for exactly the same card 339 !!! thats nearly doubled in price !!!

EOL card have gone up so much it's as if you're buying the new version. EG GTX 480 is the same price as a 580

Just had a quick shop around. That's absolutely crazy. £170 was the lowest I found. Do they just know there's loads of people who'll be thinking about crossfire for upcoming games and bump the price up?

You can still pair up a 5850 and 5870 card together in crossfire. It would be better performance if anything :')

Not too bad on OcUK but competitors are just ridiculous
