So I've built myself a computer currently running pefectly,
X4 955 @ 4.1
8Gb OCZ DDR3
MSI Twin FrozR II 5850 @ max OC on CCC
700w Gold Coolmaster PSU

I'm not having problems running games tbh I'm overjoyed being able to max out BFBC2 online with max frames up to 100fps and never dipping below 60fps and this is on 1920x1080 :) ( also I'm aware this game is heavy CPU dependant :D)

But I've seen people drooling over the next best card from both ATI and Nvidia, but I don't fancy chasing the next best thing every couple of months and watching my money fall down the sing lol.

So the question Is should I go for another 5850 for some future proofing?

Or should I max out my playing enjoyment with 2 more screens?

Ive heard you can't pair Eyefinity and Crossfire but I could be wrong :S

Any suggestions would be nice.

You would be better off getting an another card and then eyefinity as in my experience one card can struggle a bit with it. But of course that will be expensive. In your place I would simply get a next card cause I don't find eyefinity that good. But thats just a personal view on the matter.

Thanks for the reply

When you tested eyefinity did you get unplayable results ?
Because when I look at benchmark tests for eyefinity for the 58xx series there quite dated even though there using things like i7 CPU's and the such.

oh no I've never tested it on my setup sorry. What I'm saying is that if I were to choose I would go for SLi, crossfire. If you do want to improve your gaming experience then I would consider the 3d vision but then it means selling your AMD card and getting the nVidia one unless there is a 3d vision equivelant for the AMD cards that I dont know about (not really tracking the AMDs sorry again :) )
