just installed this monster of a card and now the sound on my asus xonar has completely been messed up, sounds muffled... anyone else had this problem? if there a setting in the control panel i need to set to stop the ati's own sound stuff screwin things up?

asus p5q-pro, still using the drivers that came with the board for the mobo, ill update them now

could be the soud drivers on the 5870?
cant see a option in the cat control panel for sound

It will be in your sound control panel in windows like any other sound card, not sure why it would affect your sound card though, mine didn't.
